Dell is working on a smartphone based on Google's forthcoming Android mobile operating system. It's plan on entering the smartphone business isn't a surprise.
The PC prince was for years an also-ran in the handheld computing market, badly-lagging Palm, Research In Motion, and Hewlett-Packard.
