What is the Federal Reserve System?
The Federal Reserve System, often referred to as the Federal Reserve or simply "the Fed," is the central bank of the United States. It was created by Congress to provide the nation with a safer, more flexible, and more stable monetary and financial system. Over the years, its role has evolved and expanded.
An Inflation-Creating Institution?
It’s a problem of perception. You see the problem is that people do not understand what the Federal Reserve System is. It’s not really their fault – I mean you’re not born with this information; and you either get it in school, or through the media or something like that. Well, the truth of the matter is that the Federal Reserve system is a cartel.
That’s kind of a shocking statement for most people – a cartel.
